12/24 volt 10 amp power supply

Hey Techies ONLY please... What we have is a full wave bridge into a big capacitor. This is a very raw dc supply, with NO regulation. I believe they were salvaged from conveyor belt drive motor operation. They claim to be a 20 volt at 10 amps. When I connect the primary to 120, I got 25.2 v across the capacitor. The transformer has a center tap which conveniently delivers 12.5 v from there to the negative capacitor terminal. I did NOT load it down or test it further. Beefy little units seem to work well. Don't know much else but they are heavy, around 14 pounds to ship. Lower 48 is $15 for UPS trackable insured ground.

General Instrument Super 350i BroadcSatellite Receiver

Hey broadcasters or real satellite TV fans -- Here is the real deal. This is a General Instrument Super 350i Videocipher RS descrambler compatible signal receiver, just like it says on the label. We used this to receive network programming for a station I worked at a few years back. Seems to power up and work fine, although I did not test it with a dish, it was working when taken out of service. No descrambler, but accepts one. The remote control even comes with it, and is in pristine condition! The unit itself has a few scratches on the top from being in the rack, but otherwise is beautiful. It has the bay in the back for the descrambler of choice. If you know what this is, you also know the cost! Please DO NOT BID unless you KNOW what you are buying, and how to use it.
